Hec, that's fascinating to me. I never thought about underlying structure. (No, I have no education. I am a savage who has learned, reluctantly, to wear shoes.)
ita !, I sympathize with your difficulties. I've spent all day trying to scrape sense out of the empty skulls of my coworkers. (Not literally.)
I've never heard of coywolves before:
I think I saw one. It was a really big and sort of oddly shaped coyote but still totally a coyote, if that makes sense. So, coywolf.

Heh. Well bear in mind, I did work at Fantagraphics where I got to hear people like Jaime Hernandez talk about going to a nine-panel grid, and where everybody on staff was a huge comics fan and spoke knowledgeably about comics history and structure in a detailed and informed way. That's the kind of education you only get on the job with really talented and smart people.

They think that the coyotes in Atlantic Canada are some kind of wolf/coyote hybrid. It was a big deal a few yeas ago when a hiker was killed by a coyote in a national park.
I don't give a crap if people know I'm 89 (spoiler: I AM NOT 89), and there WILL be much celebrating come Saturday.
Pssst, Steph's really 89!!! pass it on.
coywolves! grolar bears! what next?!?
Damn, the old girl looks great for her age! And got a cute younger guy!
edit: re: Teppy, naturally
My toes are silver right now, Jesse, AIFG.
The rest of my afternoon is going to be scanning documents and setting up new file structures in my boss' drive for them. The perfect boring low-stress activity I love at work.
I've come to realize this is the kind of job I should have, in all seriousness.
well, student is not dead and I have not been arrested.
student did cry - but did so even before I did the smackdown. So I decided to stick with my firm "here is WTF you need to do" stance and I did not invoke the son of God.
this time.
there is no crying in smackdowns.
For a brief bit my kids enjoyed watching a toddler show about sea animals called "Octonauts." They featured a blobfish in one episode, a blobfish who went by the name of Bob. Now they all look like Bob to me.
