information libertarian

Maybe they are hoping that 3 members of the team will turn on and kill the fourth, saving them the trouble of an exit interview.

It turns out I have no Gmail, but I do have Google Docs. Okay, then.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

This is exactly why I'm apprehensive regarding my workplace's impending move of email to Gmail.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Personally, as much as it sucks, I think I would want to find out that second, rather than waiting a week and a half for the axe to fall.

Absolutely.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

9:00 pm, still totally light.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, and happy Solstice everyone!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Zenkitty,

our org moved to gmail. so far so good. I was very trepidatious because I had gigs of email they had to migrate over. no lie. GIGs. But that moved just fine I think.

I stil backed up because I'm paranoid.

Because books.

Oops. Stephen just caught the kids before they got into the popsicles. "No! They're, uh, Mommy's."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently they haven't decided

Wow. What's the advantage of announcing that? A week and a half of not being laid off doesn't really make anything any better. I mean, given that they aren't going to lay the mystery person off until then anyway--why does everyone need to know they don't know?

Watching the tail half of In and Out again. At least I don't tear up at the coming out scene anymore.

I think I love every final pairing in that movie mad amounts. It's just so sweet.

Why can't we have more queer mainstream movies? The world continues to not have ended. Isn't that a hint?

For some reason I thought you said your company was switching over to Groupwise, Zen. I was all happy for Novell for one brilliant oxygen-starved moment. I'm having some major reading comprehension issues this evening. It's like my plausibility filter is totally shot. Is that a migraine symptom? Excessive gullibility? I should check the picture in the dictionary to make sure it's not me, suddenly.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I think Family Circus is way duller than Blondie.

I wish I had moved all the things (which it certainly feels like) and yet, I think I've moved only a few of the things.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I can't think of the Family Circus without thinking of the Mayor.
