Works for me.
Very good news about ita's mom!
Any ideas for what to do with maybe half a pound of cherries that really aren't sweet enough yet? I don't want to waste them, but I usually just ... eat them.
I used to get a ...what was it? Pink zin? Any sore of sweetish rosé, dump it and cherries in a pot, low slow boil, add sugar as needed. It made a really lovely sauce and I didn't let the cherries get too mushy.
Had to drive out to Towson to swim tonight. But not before I hit my Y and then the Parkville one. Uhg. And then had to circle swim with the slowest and most clueless pair for a third of my swim. But I still got my swim in, so there is that.
I did have weird gmail issues today, and couldn't connect to google maps.

I could do that!
I can't get Gmail, Google Docs, or even a Google search to work. Which would not be a big deal except I am planning to give a job talk tomorrow using Google Docs slides, and I haven't made them yet.
Good lord, what a day. Car wouldn't start in the morning. Fortunately, husband and I go to the same place so we could just take his car.
At lunch, he tells me that they had a meeting, and in a week and a half, one person of his four-person team is getting laid off. So now we get to wait for that.
Came home, and the car started, so at least we got it to the mechanic without having to spend 50 bucks to have it towed.
Now I think I have a migraine.
flea,
do you need an alternative?

But they don't know who? That's some kind of bullshit.
I have Open Office and a thumb drive, so I am okay, thanks. (Also, I teach live databases to undergrads, so I have experience with dealing when shit doesn't work at the last minute. I once taught a class how to use L'Annee Philologique when I had a computer but no projector, so I had to describe where to move the mouse and click so they could follow along. Good times.)
