Well, if we followed the recipe...should be cake. A demon-violence-free-zone cake.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

ACOA = adult child(ren) of alcoholic(s).

This post brought to you by insomnia and hip pain. I have a chiropractor appointment in 6 hours, and while I'm going to be exhausted, I'm still looking forward to it, because I could really use a break from this pain.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Tep, I just emailed you a stretch possible idea. And it's maybe from an email addy you won't recognize, so heads up.

Swouncing

Skipping oh-yeah-once-more because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is PMM's birthday.

Happy birthday, Plei! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Wow, the Pierces were on Letterman tonight, and they were fantastic.

I love love love The Pierces. Discovered them via the first season of Gossip Girl, no lie. Choreographed bellydance routines to two of their songs. Kate P. and Daisy Jane are also fans.

Happy birthday, Plei!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Happy birthday, Plei!

I have so much shit to pack still. I'm a bit overwhelmed.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Plei!

Good lord, Sophia -- that's a heck of a favor to ask. I do love that you started posting about 1920s costumes and then all of a sudden a bunch of them were robots. Hee.

Also good lord, Consuela -- I hope they can settle into a routine with the extra help, because that sounds like a brilliant combination of skills and I might like to hire her just for me. I know for my father, unknown future things can be unsettling, but most things in front of him are OK.

I'm thinking linen blouse, wear shorts to the zoo, put on a skirt for the dinner? Go business skirt (knee-lenth suit-style) or long linen skirt?

flea, I'd be worried about wearing linen all day before you want to look nice, due to the wrinkling. For the long interview part, I don't think you need to worry that much about looking too wintry, if they are conservative -- a dark suit is usually wintry-looking and always appropriate as a conservative interview outfit.

Art Crawl!!!

Holy crap:

Frankel won by MANY LENGTHS at Royal Ascot.

I wonder how many women were forced to wear the provided hats because they ignored the No Fascinator rule.
