In cocktail news, I had a whiskey sour on Saturday but then saw the bartender making something else, and I asked what it was, and it was a Pomegranate (sp? why can't I spell pomegranate?) gimlet, and made such a sad face that she gave me half of one for free. SO GOOD. I shall never be satisfied with a regular vodka gimlet again.

On the gimlet tip, I had a The Last Word recently, which was really really good. Apparently I only drink gin drinks now, although I would still tell you I don't really like gin.

I just want you all to know that I caved and called the dermatologist (I am not messing with my PCP, as last time he gave me something that made it worse and referred me to the dermatologist).

The next appointment is August 13th!!! So I do have an appointment now!
