Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2011: Maybe the even years are better

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. 2011? Room for improvement. Srsly.

Our wings are not tired

The USPS kept operating at a loss.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

They gave me hand gardening tools. I think they might be from the 99 cent store as there is no brand name on them and they are a silly color that does not say 'serious gardening tool'. I am not keeping them. I have hand tools.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

They gave me hand gardening tools.

What, for your bonus? Good grief, that beats even my boss giving us USB keyboard vacuum cleaners.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Gonna have to be satisfied with getting the package by Dec. 29th, because shooting for the 24th would have added $25 to the cost. TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS. Nuts. Geez, what happened to the days when I could ship priority for under fifteen dollars?

I think they guaranteed christmas delivery if you got it to the PO by noon today. I was able to do priority (the if it fits, it ships thing) on Monday for the normal amount, medium box was like $10.95, large was like $14.95? I don't know if this was a new cutoff thing they did this year, but noon the 21st was it if you wanted it there by the 25th.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Live and learn. Next year I'll make more of an effort to ship earlier in the month, that's for sure!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I received a package today! The card had no signature, and the UPS label covered the return address, so I have no idea who sent it.

I am debating whether to open up my array of gifties now, or wait until Christmas...

I feel like it was a new thing? I'd not heard about it before.
