May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Good job, Allyson!

After the gawdaful slowest swim in a long time (g.d. hormones,) I cleaned all the floors. And I need to call dad. 70! 70!!!!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Balls, I left my cell at my parents' place. Happily, my sister is probably going out there tomorrow and I can have her fetch it for me.

... I feel so disconnected!

...y'all don't drive around with the low fuel light on? I...feel like I live dangerously now. Then again, mine comes on when I still have an eighth of a tank.

How's the new roomie working out, meara? Is she settling in?

She's good! She's liking her new job, which is good, and figuring out some of the city. We're going for dim sum tomorrow. We seem to be getting along pretty well, so yay.

I would feel very disconnected without my phone. Having it run out of battery makes me panicky.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I drive around with my car on empty, but I have a hybrid and know that there's a gallon or so left when the empty light comes on, so I can drive about 40 miles that way.

I cannot believe how loud the music festival is across the effing Mississippi River. There's an echo, but I can hear it pretty darn clearly. That's what I get living four blocks from the levee, I guess. Seriously, though, I assumed it was four or five blocks away, not in freaking Gretna.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

...y'all don't drive around with the low fuel light on?

I totally do, but then I like to live dangerously.

...y'all don't drive around with the low fuel light on?

I do, but I have about 3 gallons left in the tank when it comes on. Depending on what kind of driving I'm doing that will generally last me 3-4 days before I have to gas up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I decided tonight was the night to use this facial treatment sampler I got from Sephora, and it said it's like a spa peel thing, but....ow.

Our wings are not tired.

My hybrid starts talking to me when I have 50 miles left but I tend to ignore until it is under 10. I once had a car with dual tanks and I ran out of gas with that car more than any other. I always figured I had a bit in the other tank.

My step-dad says you should always keep it near full to minimize evaporation and save a bit of gas. We clearly are not related.

I sure don't. My car tends to use gas pretty steadily from full down to 1/4 of a tank, but the needle is prone to stock market-esque drops past that point. I've gone from 65 miles of estimated fuel to the low fuel warning light on a 7-mile drive from work to home.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I was driving with the low fuel light on all last night.(My fuel gauge has a tendency to go down quickly once it gets past 1/4 tank. I was also on a tight schedule, so I couldn't stop for gas at any point.) Luckily there was enough to get us home.
