So the reason I thought there were no new Natter posts today is I forgot to subscribe to the new thread. Oops.
NYC also has interest on the security deposit - I was shocked as HELL when I actually got it back on our first apt.
When I was renting in Evanston (as a student), the landlords were all pretty shady and so I just let the security deposit be the last month's rent. (Technically against the terms of the lease, but nobody ever complained.)
Hee, there's never no natter. Even when there's no Natter, there's natter.
Glad Grace's surgery went well.
Sorry to have caused everyone's tired day! If it helps, I didn't sleep any at all, damned period, until five. And I just woke up now. Sucks.
Yay for good optometry appointment. I'm so pleased you've done so well.

These are old pics from nitrate negatives that were scanned last year. Several of them are by Nova Scotians who traveled the world, so they are from all over. They're hoping that they can use crowd-sourcing to identify people, places and ships in some of the pictures.
Sue, those are gorgeous.
Hope you and Grace are resting, Kat.
So glad the surgery went well, Kat.

Not sure you should read the comments.
I don't use those pockets.
I also forgot to wear pink.
I blame the tomoxifen for at least one of those things.
I think we should make tomorrow boot day though. I won't forget!
Wow, those pictures are gorgeous.
Thinking about crowd sourcing old stuff makes me remember that I keep meaning to do the NYPL project of transcribing old restaurant menus: [link]
