I got stupid. The money was too good.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hivemind question--what are alternate terms for "human resources" other than employee relations?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Awwww: Rescued cat leads RSPCA worker to her kittens! Be sure to click through the slideshow--the kittens are too cute.

That's a great story, but "thrown from a car"? WTF is wrong with people? Thankfully it had a happy ending.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aargh. So sorry, msbelle. Your absence will be felt.

Word back from the colonoscopy is that there's just one mass. They're going to resect next week, and then they'll find out if it's malignant and if she'll need chemo, etc. Which means I'm going to be tense and crazy for another two weeks. But just one mass! That's good. I have to focus on that.

I can't shop for a car. I can't think straight. I'm so overwhelmed. It's too much. I can't make a decision involving thousands of dollars right now. It's not fair, dammit.

That sounds good, ita. It's really a quite treatable cancer.

Librarian Warlord

Oh, the snake was in our dressing room, too. All the professionals were in one dressing room and the rest of us in the other, but at the start we were all in one (because they were finishing up another taping and trying to keep us sorted out).

Winston's owner and Winston's agent (the dog with the shopping cart) were kind of unintentionally hilarious. They kept bugging the producers for rehearsal time on stage because Winston was such an important part of the show, and they were very upset that Winston had to share a dressing room with other dogs.
