We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ditto ditto. The fleas down here are ridic, so the cats are on Advantage and the dog is on Comfortis.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Brownies are in the oven. Little man was a great assistant. The 9 month old has been a limpet all morning. I just finally got her to play on the floor but she insists I sit with her. Shoot, the 3 year old has been more snuggly than usual. Not that I mind too much.

I consider myself quite lucky to not have fleas on either cat (knock wood).

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I wear leggings with my petticoats and skirts if they're really nifty leggings. I also wear leggings with bloomers around the house.

And in the early 90s in my deathrocky days, I wore black denim shorts with tights, pointy boots, a ruffly poet's blouse, and a motorcycle jacket. And big hair. REALLY big hair.

I still want a pair of those super-shredded leggings that have a sheer underlayer, because they would make a great accent with the rest of my wardrobe.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Advantage on critters and 20 Mule Team borax on everything else cured the worst flea problems I've ever had.

And then waiting for the bites I received pre-treatment to heal, but that was more experimental pharmacology and temperature shock than I really want to admit to in public.

I strongly suspect that my footless, decently thick tights that I love might qualify as leggings. But I shall only call them tights. And I should get a couple more pairs.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My mother is worried that nail polish might be contraindicated with chemo. Is that a thing? Everyone really wants her to get a mani/pedi. It's a definite sign of her coming back to herself.

One of my cousins who is good friends with my mother, but whom my sister and I can't stand is really proving herself during this illness. The things I held against her (her relationship with her kids) I still hold against her, but she loves my mother deeply and is there for her continually. Which is more than I can be. So there's that. And she points out that my mother is very easy to love. Which she is.

I still want a pair of those super-shredded leggings that have a sheer underlayer

Do you have a picture? I can't envision them.

I *thought* I did, but Heavy Red doesn't carry them anymore! Aaauugh! Okay, off to eBay.

I'm going to have to call my favorite local goth shop and see if they still have them in my size.

hip deep in pie

I have a pair of back velour leggings from the 90s which I love and still occasionally wear (under dresses or tunics). The crotch/thigh area is practically bare of velour, but no one sees that.

I only like cotton tights as nylon makes me itch. But I find it hard to find cotton tights in plus sizes, but I've managed a few pair from Sock Dreams.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Bookmarked Sue's post for Sock Dreams. I'm thinking about picking up some tights for this winter. I just got my second coat for the winter from Land's End (Mom gave me her old wool pea coat, but it's not going to be warm enough when it gets below 20 degrees out, especially if it's windy), and it goes just over my butt but no further, so I'll need something to protect my legs other than just my jeans.

I've been on campus for 3 1/2 hours working on the last two labs of the semester. Got everything done for one except for the online research portion and typing it up, and got all the hard copy research done for the other except for the last question. I need a break, so here I am before I start reading and comparing two entries for The Last of the Wine by Mary Renault, and then I get to look for a criticism of the book after I finish comparing the entries. Yay. Then I get to do the online research and type everything up for that lab. I'm hoping I'll have these two labs completely done in the next three hours, then I get to go home and finish making an ornament.

Tomorrow, I'll be working on my final project, at last (got all my sources, just have to use them to write up a three page intro and then do annotations for 20-30 sources in all). I'm hoping I'll finish it completely by Thanksgiving morning, so I can relax a bit over the weekend before putting together the presentation portion of the final.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

OMG, the video of the cops breaking up a peaceful sit in at UC Davis by pepper spraying them in the face is absolutely infuriating. Those fuckers.
