hip deep in pie

I am home and Anderson is on here @3. So I'll Tivo to watch when I get home from celebrating Thanksgiving.

~ma for you Mom, ita.

I haven't been able to clean the house as much as I like before I leave, and my parents are coming back with me. I'm so tired that I don't care one whit. Why is getting ready to go away for a weekend such an aggravation?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

is there such thing as "neurotypical?" One researcher says "no"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am really not able to focus on work right now. Totally scattered. However long a colonoscopy and diagnosis takes is too long.

Unrelatedly why the hell treat linkedin like Facebook? People I don't know are sending me link requests. I'm assuming they're linked to people I'm linked with, but no. I'm not collecting connections. Quality over quantity, and I don't know who you are.

Any recommendations for other places to look for used cars on the internet other than Craigslist and Carmax? I will drive down to some dealerships in Santa Monica tomorrow, but I expect them to be pricey.

I don't even have a linkedin account.

The actual colonoscopy doesn't take that long, less than an hour I'd say. But since I'm usually the one being prepped and then in recovery, by the time I get home a good 3-4 hours have passed.

Thanks, Sail.

What am I missing here? Something gold-filled? Or an unfortunate typo?

I don't even have a linkedin account.

How is it affecting you, then?

Office 2010 has a plugin where it looks up mail recipients/senders in linkedin and displays their pictures underneath the emails. But it doesn't find me. I can't work out how to resolve that. I'm assuming that if I put in my work email address it'll fix it, but I don't see how to add a secondary email addy.

Then again, it is sort of creepy.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I accept almost all Linkedin requests - I treat them as potential networking opportunities. If the company is related to my industry, they're probably a good person to "know."

I see no reason to accept the request of a construction site auditor in Britain.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
