This font article was linked to from here, right? I'm reading the comments, and it's a delight watching people get het up about something I don't give the slightest fuck about. It's really relaxing. Because they care. Oh, god, they CARE.
My rage about Papyrus is all out of proportion to its badness as a typeface. So I feel their waves of emotion about this earth-shattering matter. Oh, yes, I do.
(Except I like Souvenir font. Unironically.)
Oh, crap. I've got jury duty this afternoon and I forgot to bring my Kindle with me! I can read on my phone, but I'm afraid the battery will die... Bah!
ION, does anyone know where I can buy a very simple, inexpensive menorah? And the candles? Hanukkah falls over Xmas this year, and M will be with us, so we want to honor it.
(Although he's mainly reminded us SEVERAL TIMES that Hanukkah is this year and that means DAYS OF PRESENTS!!)

In your defense, you probably weren't paying attention to fonts in the '70s and early '80s, when Souvenir was egregiously overused.

If you don't have a local Judaica shop (my impression of how common these are may be a weeeeee bit NYC-skewed), Amazon.
[eta: Also, my Mom buys me a cheap menorah almost every year through her synagogue's Hebrew school fundraiser, so that would be another option.]
