I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Happy Birthday, Hil!

I very rarely remember my dreams anymore, but those having to do with deaths in the family were always the worst. I hope you have a much happier dream, tonight, to wash the taste away, Amy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can one set up a price alert on an item on a pretty site-specific site? Every time I see Amazon discount millions of dollars off something I wonder when I missed Target or B&N do something slightly similar. But there are two many places to look! It's not like woot, which throws you whatever, or the Gold Box, which can become a destination in and of itself. There are just some things where I'd love to know if they became well discounted.

Like a Froogle alert? Does Froogle do alerts? Now I gotta go look.

Ugh, Amy. Here's hoping you get better dreams tonight.

Because books.

I've been coloring my hair and browsing women's oxfords online to distract myself, and it's working. Plus Sara's got two of the neighbor kids over, and Ben's been in and out, sharing YouTube videos, so I'm good. Thanks, everyone!

Pricegrabber gets worse prices than Froogle. I tried Google Shopper on my tablet, but it's searching UK stores and then telling me there's nothing local. I have no idea if would send me alerts anyway. I can't work out why my tablet intermittently thinks I'm in the UK, other than the fact I have the dictionary set to UK English. The Shopper app itself says LA *right* *there*.

Four bags of leaves. Plus the one my neighbor did yesterday before she left. I could do more, except cars are parked there.

Came in to find blood on the kitchen floor and a bunch of stuff knocked off the counter. Pretty sure it was a Devi/Pumpkin interaction. Devi just ripped a claw open. Swear to god, don't know how she does that, but she manages. Pumpkin is unfazed.

Need to eat something and then swim.

OK, Loki and Pumpkin are writhing around on their backs, head to head, lazily pawing at each other. Contact made, they both flip upright, stare, and then start rolling again. It's an odd courting dance of somesuch.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

ita, I imagine you are not looking for Amazon prices? If you were, I would try camelcamelcamel.com. At least you can see price history.

Now tagless for your comfort.

After Typographer Ryan Gosling, we have Poli Wonk Ryan Gosling.

I just think that there can't be too much Ryan Gosling on Tumblr.

I imagine you are not looking for Amazon prices?

No, indeed. I'm looking for all the other prices. I think the Google Shopper app might be able to help, so I've sent a bug report off to the developer complaining about its Britishness in hopes I can work out what to tweak.
