The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's awesome, Chikat!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I am getting tired of seeing Happy Valley described as "idyllic." Someone needs to get these reporters a thesaurus.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Chikat, I missed the news! Congratulations. Yay!

Congrats, ChiKat.

Let the babysitting begin. The 9 month old is cranky already. And the 3 year old brought Dora and Yo Gaba Gaba. I was looking forward to animated movie day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Things to do: eat lunch, bake pumpkin whoopie pies, do nails, work. Currently? Trapped under cat, hypnotized by HGTV.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Steampunk computers? So five years ago.

I'm still on the second cup of coffee. Then must check emails, go to store, wash dog, clean bedroom and DR, do laundry, write blog post, tweak website, bake cookies and possibly get drunk tonight. Or at least tipsy and giggly.

I might wash the dog tomorrow, actually. The hair, the hair in my bathtub!
