Hil,
aren't you still ill?

I'm still coughing. I don't know if that counts as still ill. But being out in the cold does make the coughing worse.
Oh, and McQueary was placed on indefinite administrative leave.

That counts as being ill. No candles! No vigil!
Definitely stay out of the cold, Hil.
Coughing is definitely ill. Do you want pneumonia? If the answer is no, don't go.
If this were B'racy, we would have opened a discussion thread on this by now.
OK, OK, I won't go.

Snerk! Never change, my friends, never change...
My mom and sisters get my magazine subscriptions as part of bday/Xmas presents. Mom got me a two-fer deal a year ago, and added a script for Better Homes & Gardens, and I thought :Old lady mag, what a waste of paper, UGH."
Well. I am an old lady, apparently, because I LOVE BH&G now. I really, really like it; the format is so much more modern than what I remember, and they have a great website.
She got a two-fer for Woman's Day, too, for me, and that IS kind of a waste of paper. It isn't my cup of tea.
I think that sounds like a great gift. Cooking mags are the useful kind of thing that I wouldn't buy for myself. My parents did the same for me with a sub to Consumer Reports.
