I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sorry, ita.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I just cackled out loud and had ZERO explanation for my co-workers.

One of the many reasons I'm glad my officemate is the cat.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Shit, ita.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, ita. I am actually in favor of hiding from the world for a while if you can.

Crap, ita. I'm sorry. Shitty week for you.

ION, the Phelps have decided to boycott picket Jobs' funeral. They announced this by posting to Twitter from an iPhone. ::facepalm::

Damnit ita, life needs to give you something good and soon!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

ita, I'm sorry. When I wished that things would get better for me, I very emphatically added the codicil that my shitty luck did not migrate to my friends. Evidently, there is a flaw and I shall be having a stern word with the powers that be.

brenda, thanks for asking. We're in a bit of a holding pattern now, but Hopkins has accepted him as a patient, and he will be having surgery to remove the remaining lymph nodes on October 28th. He'll spend the weekend in the hospital, recover for two weeks, go into physical therapy, hope and pray there's no nerve damage or lymphedema, and then start treatment. We don't know if it's going to be interferon or ipi (Yervoy) yet.

except for the one who absolutely freaked the fuck out and clung to his mom like she was sending him down the storm drain to Pennywise the Clown.

Please tell me the kid in question wasn't named Georgie?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Sucks, ita.

Glad to hear the update, Maria. It looks like a long road, but at least you have the path mapped out now.

Wow, we're only at 4600 feet, but we're at the foot of a mountain that's 11,749 feet

Yup, our town (well, neighboring town, there are about five tiny ones all in a chain here) goes up to about 7,000. Our peak, Mt. Baldy, (heh!) is 11,400. It often doesn't feel like we're on a mountain because we're just driving around in the pine trees and don't see the elevation change. And then, oh, right, there's the Mogollon Rim!

Oh, and my friend fb'd a picture that shows snow on the San Francisco peaks in Flagstaff.

Let me see if I have the right outraged FB person.

Eh. I like and respect the person in question, but I spend a lot of my time angry too, so maybe it's a flaw we have in common.
