I had no idea about any of this Penn State stuff. Every detail I hear just makes it more and more sickening.

Good god, why can't this guy understand that hidden columns don't go away, and the people we're submitting it to aren't idiots. They'll understand (ESPECIALLY IF WE TELL THEM) that there are hidden columns in the spreadsheet. The unhidden ones are the ones we need on the website. The filtered rows are the ones we want on the website. Der. I am not sending them the same spreadsheet twice. I refuse to treat them like they're stupid.

The Occupy Penn State lounge has added a "Support Joe and Penn State" sign to their collection of signs. They've also added to their list of demands -- they're now demanding that the course evaluations that the students fill out at the end of the semester be made public information. (My last set of evaluations included one who marked me down because I spent too much time erasing the board.) The only consistent demand from them is lower tuition -- everything else seems to change day by day.
Penn State is so affordable, especially for in-state students, compared to other colleges. Get real, kids. No one's going to school for pocket change anymore.
The in-state tuition at Penn State is more than the in-state tuition at state schools in a lot of other states, but Penn State also has a much better academic reputation than a lot of those other schools. And I'd have a whole lot more respect for them as an Occupy movement if they seemed at all concerned with the fact that the last round of budget cuts, in addition to raising tuition, also cut quite a few jobs.
Did I apply to Penn State? Or would it have been U of Penn? I cannot remember.
I'm calling in sick today. I'm getting one document submitted to the web team, and that's it. I officially can't cope. I'm fucked.

Yeah, it took me forever last night--but I had forever.
I have to write copy and blog and get to school by one (library duty), so I'm trying to get it right the first time. (Perkins used to do this for me, when I whined.)
