Because books.

Is this someone we all know?

Happy birthday, Sail! With extra cake!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

OH. Right.

Perhaps we should reserve that status for musicians and artists?

I think it would be fair to call Steve Jobs an artist.

Part of me really believed that there was secret coding worked into the OS that would make a sad Mac pop up after Jobs died.

I think Ready Player One and Daemon have skewed my expectations of what's supposed to happen when tech bigwigs die.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teppy, that brings to mind one of my favorite quotes from The Big Lebowski on Nihilism being exhausting.

I have zero motivation today. I need to clean off my desk, clean the carpets and go buy Liv new sheets.

And yet...here I sit.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Is this someone we all know?

Most of us do.

I wonder if I can convince Owen to go as Steve Jobs for Halloween.

Librarian Warlord

I wonder if I can convince Owen to go as Steve Jobs for Halloween.

Not with a Justin Beiber haircut.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I wonder if I can convince Owen to go as Steve Jobs for Halloween.

The problem might be convincing him not to go as Steve on Nov 1, Nov 2, Nov 3...

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think Owen should go as himself with a sign that reads, "The Next Steve Jobs."

Thanks for the birthday happies, all! There were donuts at work today. (Not for me, one of my co-workers is leaving and brought donuts as a farewell gift, but I'm not one to look a gift donut in the mouth. Ima eat the bastard.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies, Sail!!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Not with a Justin Beiber haircut.

Maybe I can stall the haircut and he can go as a young Jobs. He does love iTouch. He woke me up this morning to tell me there is a new Lego game that uses an app called Life with George.
