Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I suppose this means that the three this morning were pre-shocks.

Adam Levine, how did I not notice you before? Call me.

He's one of the judges on The Voice, which is where I first noticed him. Very good-looking man.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What is with the earthquakes?

Clocks get set back tonight. Happens when they get ready to stop the Earth for an hour.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Adam Levine's voice gives me the heebie jeebies, and consequently so does he. Hey Adam, give me Christina's number? Or Cee Lo's?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

meara, the book is here. Must remember to show Frances that website tomorrow.

The movie looks good, more kids movie, less magical than the book I reckon, but well worth taking the kids to it.

snort, tommyrot. You funny. Although in all seriousness I do hope everything's okay.

Yeah.

ION, sad that Alabama lost. But probably not as sad as my gf.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Geaux Tigers! (even though I don't care about college football.)

UVA won today, which makes us bowl-eligible. Very exciting. Although my friend L was more amused that our beating Maryland meant that they were bowl in eligible

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Incongruity of the weekend: intercutting episodes of The Wire with episodes of Teletubbies, and realising they carry the same damn message.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sitting at the ER, the looniest woman came in. I think the cops sent her here because she's high functioning but not right. Which is entirely disrespectful of the population of people suffering mental disease, but...she was at the hospital because the computer said that her phone number was the only way to communicate with her dry alcoholic son (she's a dry alcoholic, her husband is functioning). But her phone had been stolen along with her Jag, so she couldn't call him (she's fairly elegantly dressed). The computer told her so. She kept lapsing into badly accented stock French, explaining she spoke French and Italian, but there was a diversion into Spanish.

Okay, it looks really sad when I type it out, but...she was just so convinced. So motivated. Insisting that she knew who was in Pretty Woman because she'd lived the story. Just weird.
