Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

WTF? I'm participating in the "Can you transport a vampire somewhere they're not invited" discussion, and someone just dismissed "Let The Right One In" because they're not based on real vampires. Did something happen that I'm not aware of. Jilli, you'd tell me, wouldn't you?

So I got off my ass and fizzed water. I have put off my death by dehydration by one glass of juice. Except now I have no liquid juice mix (plenty of frozen), so I'm going to be whiny and lazy again in thirty to forty five minutes.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

We haven't seen CaBil in a long time, have we?

No, I don't think so, now that you mention it.

It's probably that he's busy cutting trees and can't feel/hear his phone, or like you said, the battery died, but I have to admit, I'd be worried too.

I hope you hear something soon! Keep us posted!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Let The Right One In vampires are totally real vampires! The book is full of very specific vampire lore. And that story actually has my favorite consequence for entering without permission.

Apparently, "You Should Be Dancing" is now Sara's favorite song.

Wait until she sees that scene in Saturday Night Fever. It's still thrilling.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I scoff at the pedagogical illusion of "real" vampires.

So normally I swim right after my haircut in Ellicott City's Y. But I felt so awful, I just did my errands and came home. Hope a nap will help. I've got a couple hours window.

Mneh. I hate this cold.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, the phone is probably in the car or whatever and everything is fine.

My apartment is failing to clean itself. HATE THAT

I just went to clean the bathroom, and the water's off. A) WTF, with no warning on a Saturday. B) Oh well, I guess I have to sit here some more.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Now I see that he accidentally left his wallet. I have now constructed a) elaborate scenarios where he's in the hospital and they don't know who he is and b) a good excuse to drive in and check on him. Only my car is worse in the weather so I need to wait another hour until the snow is forecast to stop.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Oh Liese.

I am totally the worrier like you. Hang in there, I am sure all is okay and that he is just busy.

Pix - Nov 05, 2011 9:15:30 am PDT #4839 of 30001
The status is NOT quo.

Oh Liese! I'm sure he's fine, but I'm sorry for the worry.

Seamus sat outside our closed bedroom door and meowed at us for 20 minutes until we let him in. Seriously, cat? Tenacious.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just went to clean the bathroom, and the water's off. A) WTF, with no warning on a Saturday. B) Oh well, I guess I have to sit here some more.

Poor Jesse.

I think I just convinced myself that if I do three useful things, I can go take a nap as a reward.
