I was pretty excited when Citi finally just got rid of the deposit envelopes.
I did some actual work! Even though I feel like I'm on a boat right now -- the fairly bad vertigo I got years ago always comes back a little when I'm so tired/dehydrated/traveled out. But I really have to figure out how to honestly charge these days I've been supposedly working from home, but not doing much work. BUT can I get credit for being on the redeye last night, and not on the plane all day today? Hmmm.
Brenda, that's great! Congratulations!
I have a Paypal application that lets me take a picture and deposit checks straight to Paypal (no fee).
That's what I did, Paypal. My bank is not that advanced.
This project is slamming along nicely. I really feel like I'm contributing a lot to its eventual success, even if sometimes it's just getting the right people into conversation with each other. I haven't noticed any major balls I've dropped, and I've been enjoying working with most of the people on it. And the executive sponsor has apparently been saying nice things about me.
Such a change from the project from hell, which continues, but there's nothing for me to do on that, and I still don't know which end is up on that one yet.
Yet, I'm completely exhausted, and just realised I made movie plans on Supernatural night. I'm such a hypocrite. Sorry, Amy.
S'ok, Supernatural is on Hulu now!
Supernatural's on my DVR too. It's really the principle of the thing, and also about me being a snotty bitch, which is quite important to me.
On this project I'm enjoying we've lost a project manager, a business analyst, and a developer. I'm completely toxic, and they're starting to poke fun.
Hey, there's something for lunch downstairs involving tiger shrimp and pineapple and mango. I should give it a shot.
I'm feeling a weird shot of heat down my neck on one side, like from the back of my ear around to the front near my collar bone. That's just a nerve thing, right? Nothing to worry about, right?
Use a magic marker to determine if it's getting bigger?
