This was the reason for the upcoming raise I mentioned a while back. The promotion is immediate while the pay raise is effective 4/1/2012 because we are Corporate America and we have A Process for these things. Whatev. All I know is I've never before gotten a charge out of editing my e-mail autosig. So yay!
