Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Women with drinking problems, a photo essay.

That is too funny, in a not-actually-funny way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Spousal sexual disinterest came up in a discussion of a relationship in one of my sister's classes this week, and everyone was suggesting homosexuality as a reason, and she pointed out that asexuality could also possibly be responsible. She was all puffed up about knowing about it. It was so cute.

She also riled up my psychiatrist aunt by calling someone crazy. She mollified her by explaining it wasn't a value judgment, it was just a description. Then she asked me to name three non-crazy people in our family (and then quickly disqualified our father's side of the family). I listed myself, and she laughed quickly, and said that negated everyone else I was going to list too. Hmmph. Her estimates are 80% crazy. I don't see why I can't be in the 20%.

Okay, I suspect we're kind of maxed out on Occupy photos, but seriously, y'all gotta check this out. Scroll down to the last one, Photo #43. It's so fabulous.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Both! The airwasher never did jack shit for the humidity level in any room I tried it in.

Well, poop. I got it for the same issue, really -- in the winter I used to wake up a raw throat because it was so dry, and it did definitely help with that. I guess since it's fairly passive all sorts of things about the room could make a difference in how effective it is? I say again, poop.

I just got the notice for my lease renewal. I looked at what I'm currently paying against what the currently advertised rent is for new residents and it is about the same while my renewal offer is about $100 more. So I went to the rental office and asked them if we could split the difference. Supposidly they don't negotiate, but she will ask her manager and let me know. Never hurts to ask. If they say no, I'll see if I can get another free carpet cleaning as a consolation prize.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It must be near the cats' dinner time, since Nova is all over me, and Luna's hanging out on the sofa behind me.

I love the previous photo essay as well: women laughing alone with salad.
