I wouldn't mind having more birthstone jewelry. I have one opal pendant necklace that I like and some earrings that I can't wear for more than a few minutes because of a metal allergy.

Dear god. Pumpkin has the most odiferous shits ever. I really hope this clears up, cause it is room clearing.
Gonna need a new book of matches.
Emmett will win 80% of all the important rolls of the dice. I know this is statistically improbable
That's how I won my first (and only) game of Settlers of Catan. It had to be the improbable rolls, because even when I won, I really had no idea WTF I was doing or what the goal of the game really was or why I could get 3 sheep for 1 brick. (I will NEVER understand Carcasonne. It makes me cry. I have no idea what the point is, how to strategize, or how one "wins.")
I know my birthstone. For the record.
Also, board games make great wedding gifts!
Yes! Javachik got us an awesome (and massive!) board game with all possible expansions. Great gift.

HA! My sistah!
My birthstone is amethyst. I’m eh about it.

I won my first (and currently only) game of Settlers too! I think I had a really good starting position.

I love Carcassonne! I've won every game I've played! I can actually beat my brother at it!
I like amethyst.
Clearly we ought to all be able to switch birthstones. I also love opals.
I do like purple, but many amethysts are too pastel for my tastes.
Also, ND uses Square for business transactions when people come to pick up a rental at the studio, and it’s awesome. The security issues have been resolved, I believe.

I'm guessing they all used all the random extensions on the game--like farming (which always reminds me of Mitch Hedberg) and dragons-- because at base it's like dominoes. I've enjoyed simpler versions and just given up when my friends farm.
