Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Mammals have hair! And three middle ear bones. Live birth: optional.

Yep.

So the warm blood flows
with the red blood cells lacking nuclei
Through the large four-chambered heart
Maintaining the very high metabolism rate they have

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I always thought it was spooge, no L.

Spooge is the sperm.

Splooge is the act of ejecting the sperm.

That's my take.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huh. One of the assholish scam-sellers from the motivational presentation on Monday kept talking about Steve Jobs saying "Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow." I have only just now worked out those were his last words. I'm an awful geek. Absolutely awful.

One of us might lose his hair
But you're reminded that it once was there
From the embryonic whale to the monkey with no tail

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had I been a boy I would have been Stev(ph)en.(don't know which spelling my folks were thinking of) Which would make me one of many. (I think the number of guys named some variation of Steve that I know is in double digits.)

Allegedly one girl name that was suggested for me was Sapphire. Which...no.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I think vary pretty wildly in their sp(l)ooge delivery systems. Mostly, they're fly-by fertilizations, tho.

I know dolphins have genital slits and penises, but they're mammals. Mer-people would also be mammals with adaptive breathing systems, I think? or would they be cold-blooded?

So I'm thinking genital slits and penises, if you're going for erotic mer-person, and not just biological imperative sexxorin.

(God, I take a break from resume writing for merperson sex speculation. I love you all.)

Does everyone know their birthstone? I'm not asking what it is, just if you know it. My sister not only didn't know what hers was, but her first two guesses weren't even close to the right colour (blue). Which I thought was really weird, since I'm pretty religious about wearing mine. It's about 1/3 of the stones in my jewellery collection.

My favourite (NthatSFW) picture in a gallery of awkward pregnancy photos. Some are mundane or unremarkable, some are hideous, and why are there two with guns?

Thanks, tommyrot! Guess I should listen to more TMBG. (I had to google that, of course.)

Yeah, if you ever wonder "what is the sun?"....
