Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just finished parent-teacher conferences at the high school. All of CJ's teachers adore him. He just needs to be more organized and focused. This is the first year he has actually had to study. He has a couple of classes where his grades need to improve drastically, but otherwise he is doing pretty well.

I like Colin for being there for you.

Because books.

What sara said about Colin, ita, for sure.

All of CJ's teachers adore him.

That's awesome, Suzi. How are you? I'm a little scattered today, but I was thinking about your poor mouth. Be gentle with yourself for a few days.

Thanks Amy. Actually my mouth is feeling pretty ok. I've had other root canals and this is the least painful day after. The tooth hadn't hurt before I went to the dentist, but had broken badly enough that a root canal was the only repair.

Not looking forward to the scaling and planing next week. I know I need it, but it gives me the shivers just thinking about it. I know I'll be taking some anti-anxiety meds before and will be blasting my ipod during.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Re: Steve Jobs

One of the websites I read regularly mentioned at the keynote yesterday that Tim Cook seemed subdued. I immediately thought that Steve Jobs probably wasn't doing very well healthwise and I wondered about him.

Perhaps I read too much into the statement about Tim Cook's overall manner, but I wish I had been wrong.

RIP Steve. You improved my computer experience 1000 fold from what it could have been. You were a fabulous CEO, a visionary, and you will be missed.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

They're making caramel apples downstairs at my hotel. I remember why I like the ol' Res Inn!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I had that thought too - I also was going to post, I dunno, somewhere, about thinking that a lot of the disappointed reaction to yesterday's show seemed to me like disappointment at not having a Big Steve Show rather than any actual fault with the model. That seems extra flat now.

iSad.
