Y'all know about all the times Loki has a) attacked my hair, b) or my head or c) stuck his tongue in my ear.

Two neighbors' cats (two different cats) have a serious fetish for my toes.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I have my dad's sweaty, stankfoot gene (seriously, the only thing I have ever thoughts about Botox is for feet) and dogs and cats love my feet.

Out of the habit -- GROAN!

Gimlet will give me an occasional finger lick, but Greer like the hair. She'll gnaw on it, if you sit in front of her on the couch.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

In my less charitable moments, I think people will often tolerate an increase of fees but if you make us create a whole new account for something we previously had access to, we get shirty.

I'd say that's true. In the case of Netflix, people were willing to pay more for convenience, but then they were asking people to pay more for LESS convenience.

not your mom's socks.

Back from Amy's reading at the bookstore - she was fabulous and read to a packed house. HKF is completely charmed, and is treasuring her signed bookmark.

It's much quicker to drive that way at night - only 30 minutes on the drive home! When we got back, we discovered that the house behind us a couple doors down had been afire while we were gone. It was mostly over, but there was a lot of smoke.

I've discovered that the grumpier and more discouraged I feel, the more nice clothes I put on. Today was like that. Fair warning, in case you see me walking down the street in a formal gown at some point in the future.

Punishingly Intricate

grrr work was so stupid. well, one particular person who won't understand what I think is a pretty simple concept that has been explained to him about a million times and arghhhhhh! I shouldn't have checked my email just now. I'd let it go and now it's given me a headache again. He's making me feel like I've totally lost my ability to communicate. That is the most irritating part.

feh

I know it's not a big deal but I'm about to cry from frustration.

Because books.

Sox looked fabulous, and it was so good to see a familiar face. I had fun! And wore clothes.

lisah, that's completely frustrating.

We had over 350 kids at my mom's house last night.

Holy cow.

My sister's dog is allowed one, short lick on the nose by way of greeting, but that's it. Then I go wash it off. Blech. Love the dog like no other, but blech.

I know it's not a big deal but I'm about to cry from frustration.

I hate that feeling, and I'm sorry you're having it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Stupid work!

I can't figure out what to wear to a meeting I have on Thursday. In Portland. I'm pretty sure the answer is not a suit, but now I can't figure out what else. I think skirt/blouse/cardigan, maybe. Portland is generally more casual, right? (PS: I would have seen about connecting with locals, but I'm there about 24 hours and will be with a colleague the whole time....)

Because books.

I don't know if people have seen this, but I think it's the antidote to everything: NPH and family in Halloween costumes.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I had seen that Amy. Complete adorableness.
