What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Is this the thread for craft news?

I believe that is Minearverse. Crafts, soaps, and character deaths.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

How do I pronounce "Stuyvesant?"

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Where would you go shopping right now in London?

Liberty of London.

Harvey Nichols

Fortnum and Masons.

Past Times.

All the museum gift shops.

Portobello Road (on Saturday)

Oh, and Lush of course. (They have different products than the US stores).

sumi, I don't knit - I only know about Alice Starmore from a book I read by a knitter who was DETERMINED to produce a sweater from one of her designs.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Is she booky, Hec? Primrose Hill Books and Propero's Books are lovely; if I'd had money when I was in London, I would have gone crazy in there.

She should hit a Boots for cheap and wonderful makeup.

And I totally second Portobello Road, if she'll be there on Saturday!

The botanical gardens are out by Wimbeldon, but SO worth the trip, if she's at all interested in gardens. And some of the Haunted London walking tours are wonderfully done, and so interesting.

Art Crawl!!!

Toddson - I read that book too.

It's kind of nutty. And all those "classic" fair isle designs are kind of boxy and unflattering on most people.
