So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My cold cure is a shot of Fernet. It seems to scare the cold away.

My cure is apparently sleep. Cause I kept failing to stay awake in various locations around the house. Am only up and moving because I need to swim and catsit. Pretty sure this has been hanging around since around the parents got here, but hasn't really gotten bad until today.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's pissing a cold rain today. I so have no desire to drag the kids out in this weather to trick or treat. Perhaps they'll be happy with a Wii game-a-thon and some of the candy we bought.

Here's a shot of the bout last night You can just see my jack o'lantern ass to the right.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

For a while, people were saying that the empty store in the same strip mall as my TJs was going to be a Nordstrom's Rack, but they put a DSW there instead.

I wasn't sure which would be more dangerous to my pocket book, but then the DSW opened on Thursday.

Must remember to go grocery shopping early on Sunday to avoid having the DSW being open.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

There was a groupon recently for a bounce house so my friends got it and we are having kid and grown up bouncing later this afternoon!

Ooooh, lucky! I'm very sad that I don't have the budget to do what I wanted to for my birthday next month; I was going to have a party at the local bouncy castle place. They have a grown-up package with black lights, a fog machine, and the option to bring in your own CDs.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wow, that was a sad football game.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Brees kept his streak going, and I feel like playing the Rams the weekend after the Cardinals win the World Series is generally a bad idea.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Bounce houses are fun, but not as fun as trampolines. Our friends have one and it's super fun to play crack the egg (one person balls up the other jumps them, trying to make them un ball up.

Bounce houses seem to have less injuries though, so that's a good thing.

Made today: cake balls, carved pumpkins (cat/bat, yoda, darth, and a storm trooper), pumpkin muffins...It's not even 2:00 PM yet and I'm tired!

I love trampolines. My fake aunt and uncle used to have a big one in their back yard, and I'm pretty sure I was allowed on it by myself by the time I was eight or so while the grown-ups visited in the living room, which I'm pretty sure didn't have a view of it, but I could be wrong. Good times. I loved that thing.
