Glad to share the Doc love. Yeah, what I like so much about those Blakes (and it's true for the Billies and Alettas and Marcellas too) is that the buckle functions for fit, but then for actually getting the thing on and off, there's a zipper. You can't see it in the images, but it's on the off side.
The Johari are pretty hot too.
What do you think, though, will the suede wear faster than the regular leather? I'm talking in terms of years here. Will I not wear them because they're brown not black?
I am watching the incorrectly labelled CBS shows from last night. I think my mind is sumbitting extra poignancy to CSI:NY. It tried and failed with CSI: Miami.
I think ice cream is next.
I have qualms about suede for durability, but if you get a good rain and stain guard, it'll help for sure. I imagine they would look rougher more quickly than the leather, though. Can't speak to the brown v. black; I like both and wear both more or less equally.

Did I skip? What labelled them incorrectly?
What was labelled CSI: NY turned out to be CSI: Miami, and was was labelled Blue Bloods was named was named CSI:NY. And the NY episode, at least, was old, set before the doctor had
gotten into the relationship I think he might just have gotten out of.
At least with my listings.
You missed sumi's post in the procedurals thread. CBS scheduled reruns at the last minute because of the World Series.
In yet another example where I'm not sure how I became this person, I was really hungry and wanted something simple... so I made a spinach and goat cheese omelet with sliced avocado for lunch.
I'm planning palak daal for dinner, but first I must go outside and get some more exercise since the sun is out.

I caught that. But I was expecting them to re-run a Blue Bloods episode in the Blue Bloods slot, you know? Stealth CSI: Miami can be very damaging.
Indeed. I can see how that would be startling.
We're getting ready to take the children to a costume party. Feeling very humbuggy because I'm annoyed at having to get them dressed up 3 different times (school parade, this, actual Halloween.) On the plus side, if Dillo isn't too freaked out by social activity with unknown people, we might be able to leave them for an hour and do something by ourselves. On the negative side, that something would probably be grocery shopping at Kroger.
We got the TJ's pumpkin cream cheese at the recommendation of all y'all, and boy is that stuff good.
