If I don't get a promotion and significant raise in Feb (when promotions usually occur), I will be looking for a new company. I've been here 4.5 years, longest of anywhere I've worked. I also work harder than I've ever worked anywhere.
Heh. This was me, almost to the letter, back this spring.
Otherwise? I was going to run screaming from my office and make a flight reservation to San Diego or something.
Mid- to high- seventies this week. Just sayin'.
t /not really here, just working and lurking.
I can't stop DH from watching a Uwe Boll movie.
JenP, that's like a recipe for identity theft.
No, I don't think they should be allowed to do a credit check before offering you a job. Unless it is the FBI.
Right? I sent a reply e-mail asking for company contact info. I suspect I will not get a response.
I should probably report the listing, huh?
It is good news. The six month thing took the wind out of my sails but still, very good news.
Yay for the good news, brenda.
In other news, the volunteer I complained about yesterday has done it again, going where she was not supposed to go, posting where it is illegal. She sent 4 emails and 10 text messages today, and by the time I got to them the police were calling. Now she won't answer her phone, of course. I am so out of spoons I have my doubts about ever having enough again. And the DH leaves tomorrow for Sri Lanka.
Oh, geez, Sparky. You could use a volunteer to run the volunteers. I'm sorry this is so hard, and I'm even sorrier Sass isn't home yet.
