Happy birthday, brenda!
I've heard The Chicago Diner is supposed to be excellent and very family-friendly, but it's not downtown (3411 N. Halsted).
I quite enjoy the Chicago Diner. But be forewarned: every time I have been there, the service has been S-L-O-W. Not a place to go if you are really hungry or have to be somewhere afterwards.
Dr. Darling.
I wonder if he is related to my great-aunt's husband and family, as they were Darlings. I love that name!
Makes me think of Dr. Sexy from SPN, which is nice. In many ways.
I wonder if he is related to my great-aunt's husband and family, as they were Darlings.
Or to Wendy and her brothers.
Feel better, Bev.
Also, here's hoping you can get some oxygen, ita !
It's taken me three hours to eat my lunch. I keep getting distracted. I still have an orange to eat. At this point, it seems like work.
I may have to take a stroll down to the pharmacy at lunchtime to get some breathing drugs.
Or just to escape the guy over the cube walls, who I can hear chewing his lunch. It's just..it's a pretty high wall, and I shouldn't be able to hear a sandwich and whatever he's drinking.
Man, developers. Just read the requirements documents, nuh? I tell you the population of the file feed and the audience of the link *explicitly* carefully there. But you're off in your own little direction. Reading is fundamental.
Or to Wendy and her brothers.
The funny think is that the one of the Darlings in my generation is named Michael Darling, and he is impossible to google!
That's certainly one way to Internet privacy, have a name that's indistinguishable from something famous.
For a little while there, Colin was unfindable. But he's achieved ascendancy now. Good on him.
I realized a few days ago that I'd finally run through most of the items on my long-standing to-do list, so I started to make a new one this morning, and now I wish I hadn't. I liked that feeling of accomplishment while it lasted.
Oof. That's what I hate about work--every time I get a handle on it, there's suddenly new issues! Sigh.
Catching up today even from just three days off is making me crazy. However, I am taking a break and Occupying My Couch. Sadly, this occupation will not last nearly as long as I want it to.
I did see the Occupy Seattle protestors the other night (as well as driving by Occupy Columbus over the weekend). There were fewer than I expected, given that it was 7pm, not raining, and it's supposed to be one of the bigger ones, but definitely there were more people there than usual in that park. Plus, drums/tambourine were constant.
