I used to rarely use the Timeline, but it's way easier to navigate now, so I don't understand what's wrong with it. Was there a positive side to the old page that I didn't know?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!
Just got a disturbing email from my dad about my mom's new old car, a Chevy Caprise.
The guy we bought it from kept calling it the Woodie . . . Maybe we can call it our Woodie.
Yours,
Dad
Happy Birthday Amy!
Does the car have wood sides? Disturbing either way.
I hate timeline, because it seems so different from a wall. Why am I writing on someone's timeline?
Many happy returns, Amy!
Happy birthday Amy!

Maybe I don't have my settings correct, but Timeline doesn't actually work as a timeline -- on my Timeline page (or a friend's Timeline page), it doesn't show all recent posts. I get about 3 recent posts, and then if I want to see more I have to choose the previous month. So I miss a huge chunk between the 3 most recent posts and then the previous month. The old Wall didn't have that problem.
t edit And if it were only happening when I look at friends' Timelines, then I would assume they just marked things to not appear on their Timelines. But it happens on my own goddamn Timeline page, and I know I didn't mark things to not appear.
Happy day, Amy!
I hate Timeline because it's not, in point of fact, linear!
Okay, I just looked at my Timeline to be sure I wasn't imagining things. It shows me my last 2 posts, and then if I want to see further back, I have to choose March. But I posted things earlier in April than those 2 posts. Apparently I have no option to see them on my Timeline at all? At least until May, when "April" will become an option to view previous posts?
Thanks, everybody! I'm having lunch with my mom, and then we're seeing The Hunger Games. Cake and bloodshed is the only way to celebrate!
