I don't think eggplant is a normal pizza topping, but it is a yummy one.

I'm against pineapple on pizza. It's great in salsa, fruit cocktail, and upside-down cake, but conflicts with all the savory ingredients for me. Tomato sauce is all the sweetness I can handle in that context.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't order pineapple on pizza, but I've had it with ham and enjoyed it. To my surprise.

Hmmm, I haven't had bacon or Canadian bacon on pizza in while. Should rectify that.

And even then a tomato sauce should err on the side of garlicky/oreganoy, not sugary. Unfortunately, Utah prefers sweet sauces and you have to track down someplace that actually purports to supply New York style pizza to get a good garlicky sauce.

Boy, I miss the pizza of my youth.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm pretty live and let live about pizza toppings. Pineapple is one of the few fruits that still has texture after baking.

We ordered pizza delivery last night. Coco got out while I was paying the delivery guy. Luckily, Coco decided to hang out under one of the bushes that line our sidewalk, and our nephew was around with a flashlight strong enough to find a black cat at dusk. So Coco got another stern lecture about how he's an indoor kitty (he keeps trying to escape, but this is the first time he's succeeded), which he of course will ignore.

Consuela - what an adorable cake.

I'm so lost on the Catholic stance. No birth control. No abortions. No adoption. No single parents. No same sex parents. While I disagree with, but kinda get their stance on the first two, hasn't the line been that if you end up pregnant, but are unable to care for the child that he/she should be put up for adoption? Or you should suck it up and care for the child yourself, regardless of your marital status? Nevermind the ridicuoulsness of looking down on people who can't have and want to adopt children (gay or straight).

Yes, yes, sex should only be for procreation within a male/female marriage. I think history has clearly shown that while that may be your ideal, it isn't reality.

I'm not trying to offend, I just don't get it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I definitely don't get trying to shame the adopted children. Shaming the dirty mothers, I get -- don't agree with, but get.

Hey, fuck 'em if they can't pick the right parents. AMIRITE?
