you know, the ones that look like their owners
They don't all, though. There are some that are different races, or at least have different hair colours.
Can't make it into the office today, which means I don't get to say goodbye to P in person. My manager said I should try to drive in for lunch even if I didn't come in to work in the office--I don't know. We'll see. P and I have the most antagonistic overt relationship going (he always points out that his compliments to the team don't include me), but we really work together well, and I have enjoyed just about every moment of working with him, and I'm very sad he's going offshore. I hope whatever family issues that are calling him away resolve themselves so he can come back. I know he likes it in the States.
Now I need to work out what to email him to say goodbye. That will be difficult/awkward.
LeN, I can totally see why you're spitting mad, and I'm glad your student felt she had you to come to. I really hope you can get his ass in some sort of trouble.
times like this, I wish I had crew and I could settle this old school. having a phd means I need to use my fucking mind.

he is a vindictive asshole and I'll bear some of the brunt of that.
While I do not welcome our robot squirrel overlords, I prefer them to the inevitable robot pigeons. Birds are freaky enough without being robots.
leN, he is opening the institution up for a lawsuit and ugly ugly press. I would think those above him would want to squash that possibility.
I for one welcome our robtic rodent overlords.
Heh. X-post.
Also, that is definitely a holy water font. I am really amused that Hil totally understood physically what it was, but not being a Catholic didn't know what it would hold!
I thought holy water, since it seemed like something old and fancy, which to my mind seems to mean either castle or cathedral, and holy water was the only thing I could think of (well, once I got past birdseed), but the only holy water fonts that I've seen have been on pedestals like birdbaths, so I figured that couldn't be it, either.
msbelle,
right?
Okay. Imma gonna delete. thanks!
Holy cow, LeN. What an asshat.
