The word went out: Jilli is going to be gainfully employed: tempt her!
I had an odd day at work: first, I spent the morning going to and from the doctor's office. (Seriously, I spent something like two hours travel for less than an hour at the destination. ..seems wrong.)
Then I got to work and started in on my giant project but mid-afternoon I had to up and go to the main office to cover their front desk. So I didn't really get anything done except determine that I need either a lightbox or s slidesorter or possibly both to effectively work on the collection.
I ... don't find Ryan Gosling attractive. He's charming, he may actually be a superhero, but not, IMO, good-looking.
Gah, I am SO with you.
In short: Fucking work.
And even more with this. Seriously, y'all, one of my co-workers quit yesterday, and we have a project from beyond hell that needs to be wrapped up tomorrow in addition to our regular publication, and I inadvertently became the point person for the project from hell because both my boss and Big!Boss simply didn't even understand the specifics of it (how do you start a project and solicit quotes on it if you don't even understand what you need to do to get it from An Idea to A Published Product?!?) and the fucking project is EATING MY SOUL but I'm ALSO responsible for getting the monthly journal out tomorrow along with the goddamn soul-eating project.
I ate a LOT of chocolate today. Easter candy FTW.
I was wondering, are David's Teas sweet? Some of them look like they'd be sweet. But there are a couple chocolate teas that look delicious, including that one you mentioned before, the one with the lips in it.
Some of their teas have stevia in them, and some of them (like the one with the lips in it, or the pumpkin spice chai, or oh, all the cupcake teas) have candy sprinkles or bits of chocolate in them. So yes, some of their teas are sweet. But not all! I'm just a sucker for candylike tea.
Where is this David's Tea? I need to check this out.
I am Seriously Not Happy that Taco Bell fucked up my order, since I didn't realize it until I got all the way home. I know it's crap food, but it was the crap food I was craving, and they gave me the wrong stuff. And I have no cupcake tea to ease the pain!
You guys! I just realized I could have legitimately said, "I gave at the office." The Red Cross is calling, and I gave non-Red Cross blood literally at my office!
I made an appointment. They appear to be low on my blood type and I missed a donation while I was on antibiotics a couple of weeks ago.
I'm still bitter there's no Taco Bell in the city of Boston.

I just bought a LOT of tea. But made my saving throw against buying a vintage hat, because I'd rather save up for this jacket: [link]
I know it's crap food, but it was the crap food I was craving,
I need to find out either if the Taco Bell nacho cheez is gluten-free, or finally figure out what the grocery store version of it is. Because that stuff is my junk food crack.
I don't know if I'd like this cocktail, but it made me think of DavidS and Jilli, so I'm posting it - [link]
In all of Boston, Jesse?! Wow.
Thanks, Jilli!
In the city proper, yeah -- there are some close by, but not convenient for me. My one in Queens wasn't super-convenient, but it was in the mall, which made for a excellent afternoon.
