Alibelle! Heyyyy!

Zen, I feel like I get to see more than my share of buffistas, due to my travels (albeit mostly west coast ones these days). I'm sorry I'm hogging the buffistas.

AFAIK, which may not be very far, magnesium makes it stop.

Magnesium deficiency is also supposed to be a possible cause of migraines. Of course, when I took it, it made me itch like WHOAH, so I only do the Vitamin B now.

You have up to a year after the wedding, technically, but I think probably a month after would not at all be a raised eyebrow, and if you make it some sort of cool present like "Happy Six Month Anniversary! Enjoy this gift about your anniversary!" or whatever it would still be neat.

I had moroccan food with some friends tonight--how did I forget I like it so much? YUM.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, like the first anniversary is paper, so you could include a plant with your gift with a note about how it's going to be paper soon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi Alibelle! Hi everybody!

I have been editing articles all day. Seriously. I've read like 100+ pages already, and I have another 45 page article to go. phooey

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I don't begrudge you your Buffista-facetime, meara! I simply want some for myself. It's the same way I feel about money and good boyfriends.

I read somewhere (citation needed) that most people are deficient in magnesium because we clean our food better than our ancestors did and thus eat less mineral-rich dirt, whereas the body, though it needs magnesium for many functions, does not store magnesium because it expects to be getting a fairly steady supply from our dirt consumption. So I guess we should be yanking carrots and taters out of the ground and eating them right there.

So, I just received the checks from my new credit union bank account. And it said there were 4 packs in the bag, and indeed...but they're numbered 2100-2159 and 2190-2219. WtF? It seems to be missing one that is 2160-2189. I guess I'll call in the morning. Really didn't need.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I take Magnesium regularly and still get migraines. And I'll bet other migraine sufferers, especially those with far more serious migraines than I have tried magnesium too. So definitely not the only cause even if a possible cause for some.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think I've read the same thing about vegans and B12. People who eat animal products get the B12 because the animals are eating the dirt, and it gets into them and thus into the animal products, but vegans generally need to supplement. (Or eat dirt, I suppose, but I think I prefer my lemon-flavored B12 supplement to that.)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Not enough dirt, not enough parasites...modern life sucks. Let's go back to the caves.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I live next door to a Buffista, AIFG.

I'm quite happy to take supplements instead of eating dirt. I'm also happy to sneeze for a month or so out of the year instead of having parasites all year round. If my allergies called for epipens instead of kleenex, I might feel differently.
