Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I do love April Fools. For those of you who did not see, I posted on FB that I was starting the application for a second adoption. I could almost hear my mother's twitching.

Heh. That's eeeevil.

le n, what vitamin deficiences could cause this? I can hardly believe I'm deficient in anything, though. I take lots of supplements.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

well, I'm obviously very wrong. I don't think deficiencies are an issue:

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I still stand firm in being humourless about April Fool's. A well-crafted web page that's not actually intended to deceive, but is rather a nifty ridiculous concept (like the Google ones, or ThinkGeek (although they do end up making a couple of those happen)) is as much as I can take.

I hate the feeling either during or after being pranked for me, and I don't get anything out of anyone else experiencing it. Scroogey McScrooge, for sure.

You're not alone, ita !. I refer to April 1 as “Internet Jackass Day”.

Thanks for Googling for me, le n! That needs its own acronym. TFGFM!

Medications such as some antibiotics, prenatal vitamins and antidepressants, as well as drugs used to treat high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis and kidney stones

Not taking any of those. I do take regular non-prenatal vitamins, though.

Oral problems, including oral infections such as gingivitis or periodontitis, tooth infections, and poor oral hygiene

Ew. I've seen my dentist recently and not been given warnings of any such things, so I think I'm good there.

Hm. I just started taking Centrum multivitamins again, which I used to take back in my 20s (when I was healthy; note to self, don't stop doing the things you do when you're healthy). And I didn't for a couple days, and today I did again...hm. Possible culprit? What's in both prenatal vitamins and Centrum that could cause a metallic taste in the mouth?

Me too, ita !. I hate practical jokes and pranks. Some are harmless enough, but there are too many people who can't tell the difference between "harmless joke" and "how could you think that was remotely funny?". People who think Punk'd is the best show ever. (Disclaimer: I have never seen Punk'd.)

Continuing my serial act, my new heat pump system will be installed on Wednesday! Just in time for the hot weather, apparently.

brillig

I despise practical jokes and will foil them if given the chance. One old workplace was horrible for that sort of thing: "joke" firings, moving people's cars and not admitting it while the person is calling the cops to report it stolen, etc. I was widely held to be a miserable person with no sense of humor--except to the people who I warned about what was going on.

Iron?

Fooling people on purpose is not funny.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, I don't see the point of a practical joke if its purpose is to cause anxiety, panic, etc. in another person. I'd go so far as to say that's morally wrong.
