Mal: Gotta say, doctor, your talent for alienatin' folk is near miraculous. Simon: Yes, I'm very proud.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I'm a Mighty Leaf girl all the way. It's all the House of Reason's fault.

I'm so sorry about the asshattery (which my phone apparently recognizes as a real word...I must type that a lot) going on with the ER, ita. I hope your migraine specialist does what he's supposed to do and makes tonight bearable.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

A friend's son has a tea importing site. He studied Chinese in college and while working over there, fell in love with the tea and decided to start importing it. He's a really great kid and I hear the tea is AMAZING. [link]

Art Crawl!!!

On HRTV they've been running for an item supposedly in memory of the Titanic but it's actually a replica of the necklace from the movie Titanic. That necklace wasn't based on something real, was it?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, man, I overslept today. I woke up at five with the SO. I've been getting up at five or six with him the past couple of days. But he told me, "It's Saturday, you should sleep in." And it was cozy and warm under the blankets and I said, OK! Five hours later...

Which would normally be fine on a Saturday, but I was supposed to go to a solar workshop this morning at 10:00. It seemed kinda simplistic, odds are I know everything they were going to say. But still.

Anyway, I feel great now, so I guess I needed the sleep. We'll see if I can get some weeding done today and try to finish off a lot of work stuff. And put the laundry away. I need to put the laundry away.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I did go for sort of a half-assed walk, but at least I got to the river. So that was good. I also did recon at the party store -- I am so nervous about throwing this party! And yet? Have not confirmed the location or invited a single person.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went out to lunch with a friend, and now I'm trying to decide what to do with my afternoon. I've got some grading to do, but I seriously need a break from grading, so I think I might read instead and leave the grading until tomorrow.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

That's ridiculously cute.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
