However, seriously, have you tried Teavana?
I can't justify paying those prices, and I prefer unflavored, single region teas, so Upton is perfect for me. There are some teas on Teavana that I know are the exact same as on Upton for ½ to ⅓ the price.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Timelies all!
Got my errands done for the day. Return books to library, get a haircut at Haircuttery, pick up the last of the Agatha nominees I put on hold, go to Target for makeup and accessories, and home.
I just feel like I'm taking advantage.
I'm pretty sure your manager and the other team members don't feel that way.
I'm also furious that your migraine doctor hasn't gotten back to you. That's beyond unprofessional at this point, and close to malpractice. This isn't junior high -- he can't just decide he's not talking to you anymore. He has a responsibility and he's not stepping up. I would seriously think about reporting him, wherever you do that.

Makes sense. The stuff of theirs I really like right now--the Jasmine Dragon Pearls make me thirsty, I like it so much. It just creates its own craving in me. I had given up on their Hibiscus Rooibos because I kept brewing it too bitter, and their Oolong Chai, because I was also over-steeping/brewing. But with the controls of the tea maker, they're very precisely balanced, and it's all about the extra flavours. They're really good at blending, and finding notes.
Their catalogue reads like--I have no idea what crack they're on, and I think that's part of my problem with Upton. I can't interpret tea-taster language. At least I get to smell the Teavana stuff before I buy, so it helps me be informed.

But I don't have any alternatives! He's my third (no, fourth) migraine specialist, and I've run out of people with a rep that my insurance covers. I don't know who to go to if I don't go to him.
He was decently responsive after I reached out to him directly, but they made it pretty clear that I wasn't supposed to have his email address. His office is hopeless, though. I left messages with them all week, and nothing. But three hours after I emailed him he responded to me saying he'd page the ER head.
I wish *I* could talk to the ER head. We used to work together. She likes me, and was always very nice and understanding when we talked in person, making the transition from professional to doctor/patient relationship as painless as it could be, which is hard. But I never see her anymore, and I have no idea if she's on this magic panel or not.
Still, I'm glad that's who my doc is trying to reach. However, if this doesn't pan out by the time I go in, I am having motherfuckers paged tomorrow mroning. Seriously. I need a break.
Took a look at both websites: all the teas I was interested in at Upton were sold out.
TVG is showing the odd rhythmic gymnastics/dance display that is going on at Meydan between races. It's at night there so lots of light displays as part of the dance.

Good idea.
Is the social worker supposed to be working as your de facto patient advocate? Because getting him on the phone might also help.
ita,
don't shop at Teavana. I can guarantee you that for the black and green and white teas, I can find a better tasting alternative for you that will likely be cheaper.
I lost my shit in Teavana earlier this week when I got a seriously pushy salesperson. I wrote a note to corporate and yelped that store into negative. I was only in there because I needed to go to the apple store and passed by the place on my way.
I should have fucking known better.
Upton hasn't been importing from Japan this year, because of both real and imagined fears of radiation.
