Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So maybe I'm glad I never did pursue a federal job when I was in DC?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

NOAH AND GRACE!!!!! 5!!!!! too cool.

5 years, Kat. Amazing for all of you.

The twins came just 3 months after mac, so always a whirlwind in my mind. Mac, who by the way turns 11 in less than a month!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh my gosh, mac is getting so big!

I guess they all are, the kids? Weird to think it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I wonder if, in 17 years or so, B.org will contain Buffista sprog. Will they join us? Will they break away and form a new org, bent on world domination? Will they eschew all that stuff their parents are into, in favor of the new brain implants? Will there indeed be second-generation Buffistas? And if so, will we finally get our own zip code?

What's your question, -t?

Consuela's job saga belongs in the Catch-22 hall of fame.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday Noah and Grace and K-bug!

So tomorrow, I am finally getting my port removed. Assuming I don't die, that will be a good thing!

Heh. To be fair, things have only gotten utterly ridiculous in the last few years, because of the new rules about veterans' hiring. So far as I can tell.

bon, I had no idea it was so nuts there. Argh.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks, Ginger. If my fluorescent lighting only intermittently actually turns on when I flip the switch, or takes hours to light up, is that just something tubes do when they are old and need replacing, or do I need to worry about my wiring?

-t, it doesn't sound like wiring. Old fluorescents get dimmer and slower to light, but not so much intermittent. It might be the ballast. Do you know how old the fixtures are?
