If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So add one more to his body count, that being whomever he nosed out on the list. but I'm sure it was all completely above board.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

If I could find any of the these arc reactors in a chick cut, I'd be happy.

If I lived near you, I would tell you to get one in whatever guys' size fit you best, and I'd help you alter it to look more like a chick-cut shirt. Because that's a simple fix, in my world.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

msbelle, I have so been there. When we first moved back to LA it took SO LONG for me to find my peeps. But then there were the LAistas, that helped!, and first one friend from work, then slowly another. And each new change in life, it feels like it takes years to establish meaningful connections with other people.

Now it feels like all my favorite people are moving from LA, and while I totally support it and see the moves as positive for THEM, there's no doubt that each move makes me sadder as I see my wee circle of friends shrinking. sigh.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Connie, yeah heard that on the news just a while ago. They (NPR) also mentioned he'd been on the transplant list for 20 months, so it isn't like I can bitch (much) that he got priority status.

Still, I SWEAR I'd come back and haunt him if I was the one who'd donated his heart. (If anyone saw last night's Supernatural, just.like.that. With additional firecrackers and bullhorn.)

Has anyone heard "elementary" pronounced "el-mEN-Tary"?

Yikes. I assume she also says liberry rather than library?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a movie and dinner with my coworker and her husband, which was nice and social, but I think my favorite accomplishment of the day is getting two little stupid things out of my house that I should have gotten rid of years ago. So that's good.

I'm too frigging tired to make dinner. Not sure how to compensate for that.

Livingroom is clean and ready for the new couch. It is going to be furniture tetris until we have a garage sale next month (our apartment complex is having a big one).

CJ is home, the plane crash was a small single person plane and the pilot is fine. The team got called off half way there.

Dinner may be breakfast food. I'm not feeling very inspired by anything in the kitchen.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Order pizza. It's what we always do!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I figured out a restaurant that will bring me Chinese food. That and laundry are about as productive as I got today.
