That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

OK, but now that I've watched the actual video, I like the song! Seems like an odd choice to have her sitting down for the whole song, though -- it's the kind of song that you'd think would require standing up and dancing around while you're belting it out.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I don't know if I've ever heard "Rolling in the Deep." The only radio stations I ever listen to are classic rock or NPR, so if I've heard it it was probably at the grocery store or something. I only recognize "Someone Like You" because of that SNL sketch.

I never listen to the radio for music anymore. I listen to NPR sometimes, alternative online radio or stuff in my iPod/iPhone.

So I've never heard of Adele as well.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, man, monks complaining in the margins of illuminated manuscripts. LOVE.

Hee! One of the more fun supplements to a class I had was all about marginalia in medieival texts, taught by a bone-dry funny professor.

If you have iTunes, you get a 90 second preview of songs now, before deciding to buy. Which is really long enough to decide, generally.

Versions that I thought were just so wonderfully terrific when they first came out now seem woefully out of date.

Heh. I'm still annoyed that my old company only supported IE6...and my new company has IE6 and Firefox...but it's like, Firefox 4.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My work PC is still running Windows XP.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hivemind! Quick!! Will a decaf teabag have enough tannin to help a tooth socket stop bleeding? And what else is recommended?

For kids who knock out teeth, you're supposed to put the tooth in milk to preserve it on the way to the ER. Dunno if adult teeth can be put back though.
