All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I am getting nitpick(ier). I just corrected an NPR post about Suzanne Collins and her father by linking to a NYT article.

I'm an English NERD!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

what I want:

have a person sit next to me on the plane who is quiet, does not have BO, and who will not watch porn or invade my personal space more than is absolutely necessary.

The FB shit has GOT to go.

I wonder what an employer would think of me: I am not on FB and while I am on twitter, I would not disclose that since I don't use my real name nor do I want to be found by professional associates.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I almost want a prospective employer to ask for my FB password just so I can tell them to go to hell.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I feel like we should have a dummy buffista profile whose name/addy changes as needed to help people out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd turn down a potential employer who asked that of me. One asked me for work product from a previous job, and I turned him down. He pushed it, but I couldn't cover the surprise. I told him it was proprietary, and that I was prepared to whip up something representative, but I wasn't going to refer to an actual business case of a previous employer. Seriously.

You're welcome. All my Twitter peeps are OBSESSED with it so as a reward for billing 16 hours in the last 24, I am downloading it now.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Maybe the KLM thing is more attractive to people from other countries they serve. That's what I assumed when I heard it.

brillig

For those multitudes that were wondering about the results of my search for graph paper that I can work with online for beading patterns, I found a lovely free program that not only has multiple forms of blank beading pattern screens, it comes pre-loaded with the color palette of a major bead manufacturer so you can fill in the colors you need and you'll get a total of the beads you'll need in that color. And it lets you do global replace of a color with another color. Much fun.
