Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Shouldn't the vendor be the one who has to be careful what he says? If the relationship is not one of pure blunt honesty?

Oh, definitely. But his email was basically "your notes are wrong". Uh, do they really let you talk to customers? Seriously? Not only are my notes right, you *never* tell anyone their shit is wrong like that. Never. He's so bad at customer interaction, but they keep putting him in this position.

I keep trying to get him out of it, because I feel bad for him, and I'd rather get someone who knows how to speak, and doesn't keep compromising themselves, but they keep shoving him back in my face.

Well, okay. I'm not the one that cc-ed his CEO on the chain where the customer has to say "Our understanding is XYZ--are you saying you won't do it?" Because I won't take that bullshit. I'm nice, but I'm not stupid.

Speaking of which, the new PM is onto working with his second IT lead at the company, and it's a shame, because I obviously spoilt him. He's not having as much fun as he did with me, and the other IT lead is apparently not as much of an idiot (which is different from being stupid, I swear) and doesn't sign up for every job under the sun. So he keeps calling *me* still, and asking me for help, and it's not even remotely my project. Sheesh.

Thanks for the insent, Typo, on both topics. I've forwarded the one to my sister.

It's only a matter of time before someone re-enacts a whole episode of the reboot with Otter and Hedgehog. I wish I were that genius.

I've seen that many times today, and it's never not good. I guess it was trending on Twitter for a while?

brillig

Question of crafty types: Is there a source for graph paper that you can work with on the computer? I'm wanting to fiddle with some beading diagrams, and it'd be cool if I could play with filling in square with colors rather than needing pencils.
