I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Paper towels are cheap, and I have plenty of old t-shirts.

I'm initially suspicious of advice like this, but the old t-shirt or paper towel thing didn't require me to buy anything new, and she blotted it with paper towels at the salon. Damn it, it does help.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Zenkitty,

I have been using some Lush products on my hair that might work for you. There is a crème for the hair post-shampoo that really does a nice job with curl definition.

Ima get a set for Colin and ita!

Damn, I should get them for Ben. He unironically LOVES that song, and sings it all. the. time.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

brush hair - then shower scrunch dry and ignore .

I used to walk in anywhere and get my hair cut. I didn't really know how bad my haircuts were. because I got the triangle head thing.

but I'll buy the white privileged idea of hair, partly because it never occurred t me that hair could be substantially different

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ima get a set for Colin and ita!

I can't believe you just fucking did that to me.

My favourite hair product, back from when I had 1 or 2 cm, was Aveda's humectant pomade. I still have some, for when I get lazy with the cutting. It just tidies everything up, and gives it a bit of gloss. It's like the opposite of the Smashbox Primer. And it's got the best hair product smell I've ever smelt.

Oh, noes, Walking Dead finale. Man, I wish these people weren't such unlikable idiots so I could root for someone. I'd even take a Lurtz equivalent at this point. My viewpoint character does not need to be alive.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My favorite is Darryl, but most of them I want to smack upside the head every so often. Or a lot.

But I am still totally invested in the show.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I cut my own hair so I don't go def con 4 on some poor hair person who doesn't get that my hair is both fine and thick and it hides when it's wet. So, I always come home and find when it's rewashed and free of what ever crap they put in it, that there are chunks hanging down that they missed!

This way I'm the only one I can be pissed at for a bad haircut. It's better for the rest of the world.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm my hair's worst enemy. I am inept. It doesn't help that my hair believes its destiny is to head towards my nose, so no amount of product will keep it out of my face for more than a few hours.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

some poor hair person who doesn't get that my hair is both fine and thick

Me = fine and thick and curly with product/humidity/dirt, yet when it is just-washed and product-free it is flatter than the proverbial pancake. My hairstylist is worth her weight in gold.

Does the Aveda pomade smell like the other Aveda stuff? I've heard lots of people say they love Aveda's Be Curly, but the scent made me think of Skin So Soft...which reminds me of bug repellent

I am much more picky now than I used to be--when I was younger I had waist-length hair and my mom cut it! But shorter definitely demands a better hairstylist--lord knows I've walked out of a salon crying many times by now.
