Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ita ! is there absolutely no way you can have your treatment once a week in a doctors office so that you can avoid all of this ER bullshit? It makes me so angry on your behalf.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Art Crawl!!!

ita - yeah, there should definitely be a better system . . . or you know, a system that would allow a less traumatic way of handling something that is a regular occurrence. It's just ridiculous that you have to go through that er mess regularly.

(ION: Go, Taylor - that really rocks.)

Punishingly Intricate

Yay, Taylor!! So cool! That reminds me of this

That reminds me of this terrific story from a couple of weeks ago that I wanted to share about a robotics club from the all girls public school near my house. The RoboDoves! These girls rock so hard!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

sarameg, that's fantastic! Congrats, Taylor!

ita !, I am, as usual, speechless with rage at your doctors. Surely there has to be a better way for you to get what you need.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

ita, Betsy is now being treated for rebound headache syndrome--have they talked about whether you could have that?

Because books.

Every time I have to seriously clean (like today, because the parents are coming for dinner), I want to put on "Housework" from Free to Be, You and Me, and chant right along with Carol Channing.

I have managed to read two months' old magazines.

Yeah, not being productive today afterall. But I do need to go out and gas up the car.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Which was when she turned around and walked out of me mid-sentence, saying "Well, I'm not going to do it."

What is her childhood trauma? Don't you have orders on file? She can't understand that someone who is in pain all the time comes in on the weekend so she can work during the week? Why do residents keep doubting the integrity of all the previous doctors who authorized the drugs? Why can't we bash her in the head?

It seems like there ought be an infusion center that would administer the drugs prescribed, without the drama.
