So my boss is out of town. Today a new iPad was delivered here for my boss's wife. So I'm thinking, if I take it home with me, how would anyone know it was actually delivered?
I mean, besides the fact I signed for it.
(Perhaps this plan requires rethinking.)
Drink water, Kate! I remember that being well hydrated helped a lot with the B-H.
Thanks, Burrell! I generally do drink a lot of water, so maybe that's one reason why I haven't had many B-H contractions yet. (Or possibly at all -- like Plei, I haven't been able to figure out for sure if what I'm experiencing at any given moment is B-H or just general discomfort.)
Allyson, I'm a slow reader these days too, and while it frustrates me because I used to read faster and I miss being able to get through as many books as I used to, I think I probably do retain more now that I go more slowly. Anyway, there's certainly no shame in being a slow reader!
Burrell, not so much getting blamed as I know at least one of the guys I support has been getting frustrated and expressing it to a semi-neutral 3rd party.
I of course let him know that I can only work with information I am provided, and then forwarded the travel itenerary people the email where my boss had to update me himself because he was sent the new schedule, but I was not. If the itenerary email people do not fix it immediately I will be ccing the world on future emails.
My immediate and the top boss travels every single week. It is very unusual for him to be here more then 3 days in any week. Of the other 3 bosses, 1 commutes in from out of state every Monday, so knowing when he arrives and departs each Monday and Friday is critical. He and the other 2 probably travel on average every other week for 2-3 days. ANd every single trip goes through at least one change, often 4-5 changes in the week prior to travel.
Hm. I could have sworn DH read them in paperback last summer. Maybe they were press copies.
That seems likely. I can't even find a release date for
Catching Fire
in paperback.
I actually bought the boxed set in hardback as a gift for a friend just so I could read them before giving them to her. (I pre-cleared this with her.)
So, I know you have good intentions, but seeing that in black and white and the "no one will ever find you..." part. Well, that made me laugh.
Muahaha! We may yet be internet killers!!!!! (Probably not.)

I'm not ALWAYS an Internet axe murderer! I don't even have an axe anymore! Honest!
Zenkitty wants to make earrings from my teef!
...you don't have any gold fillings, do you? Just asking.
Why is everything on the internet changing looks? All of the sudden, Amazon is different. And I have had to succumb to the new gmail and facebook finally, and I HATE them both.
Preach it, Sophia. PREACH.
I can barely stand gmail, but google calendar sets my teeth on edge (no gold fillings). I just can't stand it. I go out of my way not to look at google calendar.
I HATE that Google bought Yahoo and now I can't be signed in to one of my e-mails at the same time as the other, and have two Youtube accounts, and so forth. And it feels like I'm one accidental click away from consolidating all my online accounts and identities together, which I Do Not Want.
The Alhambra was amazing but huge and overwhelming. I am currently curled up under a blanket while the girls go for icecream. I spent 15EU to get a load of laundry done and it will be worth every penny to have clean pjs and tshirts, after 2 ridiculous overnight transits. (I am too old for The Night Bus, people.)
Still sick, but i have managed to mostly keep up with the girls, helped by frequent cafe stops for 'te classico'.
Tomorrow, some shopping, maybe a museum, and then Sunday it's off to Barcelona.
