I need to get out and about and do some weeding before the horehound takes over my yard, but I don't wanna because it's windy. Only, it's only mildly windy and not blow the guitar cases off the deck windy which it apparently was during our vacation. Wind is the worst season.

It's beautiful here. I'm not sure of the temperature, but perfect might be a good guess. I have the window of my office open and I can smell freshly cut grass from outside.
It's incredibly warm here. I was just outside in my bare feet. Sadly, my feet are not really ready to be exposed. Must redo polish quick.
::sigh::
I wish there was a flag you could put on an email to make it unshareable. Like, someone couldn't reply to it and add recipients. I kinda didn't necessarily want everyone to see that precise language. It's just...it removes a facet of control, you know?

OMG I want this too. Don't we have Buffistas who work for Microsoft? CAN WE GET THIS IN OUTLOOK? Call it the "don't show clients how the sausage is made" filter.
Holy crap do we need that!!
It's the lemon balm that's taking over here, along with chickweed, henbit and hairy bittercress.

I miss herbs. There aren't even many herb plants available in the garden centers. One would think there's no culinary need here, and no history of healcraft. I probably have just not stumbled onto sources yet.
Now I want to make a potion.
Oh if only I hads me a potions master!
The thing is, the horehound smells great when I'm digging it up. But I have a friend who's lived here for twenty years and she has huge (like six foot) horehound plants that she cannot eradicate by any means. So I'm trying to dig mine up while they're still just irritating. They lie too low at the moment for the weed whacker to get them, and they have this extraordinary long taproot, so it's all manual digging and pulling.
It would be great if I could make candy out of it. But right now I just need to get rid of it so the dog will stop tracking in all the burrs. I wish it would rain again; it's much easier just after a rain.
