I would totally wind a piece of string around my rock.
Not ONE response to this? Honestly, I go offline for one evening and it's like I don't even know you people anymore. EVERYBODY WANTS A ROCK TO WIND A PIECE OF STRING AROUND. There, I feel better now.
Except that my cable and internets are still out at home. Cablevision said the outage would be fixed by midnight (last night.) They lied.
I would totally wind a piece of string around my rock.
I meant to respond to this and forgot! What the heck does this MEAN?
Also, it looks like US Bank (their regulator) is the OCC.
Sort of. Last summer, some of the responsibliity (including RESPA issues) over very large banks (U.S. Bank qualifies) got transferred to the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. So the CFPB may be the person to talk to.
The good news is, because so many agencies are involved in supervising banks, thrifts, credit unions, etc., the consumer complaint sections of the agencies have become very good at transferring complaints that have been sent to the wrong agency. So don't worry too much if you send to the wrong agency -- it'll get sorted out.
Ah-ah-ah! I am working on my positive attitude, and I think I have successfully used jujitsu (as my coworker called it) to get someone around to my point of view that the thing she wants to do is not worth doing, while only saying yes to her!

There are parents out there who would pay through the nose for that skill, you know.

It still may not work, but I'm feeling very good about my progress!

Aw! They/we were all so young.
Wow, today is turning out to be incredibly shitty already. In order of least to most serious:
On my way to work, the shoes I was wearing (which I hadn't worn in a really long time) basically disintegrated, so I had to walk back to my apartment and change them, which made me WAY late for work.
My cable and internet have been out at home for over 24 hours with no ETA from Cablevision.
My father-in-law is in the hospital after a "mild" heart attack last night.
No more, ok, universe? Maybe hold off until tomorrow?
